The Bitter en Zoet restaurant is housed in an unusual location: the old hospital complex. The three old staff residences Toewijding (Dedication), Bitter en Zoet (Bitter and Sweet) and Plichtgevoel (Sense of Duty) are connected to each other by a bright solarium, which is where the restaurant is located. You can have a full meal here, or just enjoy a cup of coffee on one of the soft lounge benches. There is a beautiful patio in the historical courtyard. There is also the opportunity at Bitter en Zoet to take something with you for your trip or for home, including old fashioned bonbons and fresh bread.
Bitter en Zoet is open daily; the kitchen is open from 12:00 noon – 9:00 pm.
